Presented by Pastor Rose Mary Loya,
First Lady at Cross Church

Rose Mary Loya was born on August 19th, 1970 in the city of Pharr, Texas to Rev. Francisco and Rosie Benavides. Rose Mary grew up in the city of Sugar Land, Texas, and later moved back to the Rio Grande Valley where she graduated from Harlingen High School in 1988.

 

Growing up in ministry and around church, Rose Mary started ministering and singing at an early age. God has uniquely gifted her with an anointing and ability to lead people into the presence of God.

Immediately upon graduating, she pursued higher education from Texas State Technical College (Harlingen, TX) and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology in 1990. On July 17th of 1993, she married Jaime Loya. They began their ministry as youth pastors at ICCM Tabernacle of Life in Harlingen, Texas. They continued working together in ministry until God moved them to start Cross Church formerly known as Valley International Christian Center, alongside their parents, in 1995.

Today, Pastor Rose Mary is one of the main praise & worship leaders at Cross Church and also helps lead the Women’s Ministry. She has successfully released two music albums; Setting the Atmosphere (Recorded LIVE) and Cuando Reposo en Ti. She also released a solo album in 2014, Rose Mary. Aside from her singing ministry, she serves as Pastor alongside her husband of Cross Church. She also travels and ministers through song, and is a sought after conference speaker and worship leader for different women’s conferences around the nation and other parts of the world.

Rose Mary resides in Harlingen, Texas with her husband Jaime, where they enjoy their four beautiful children; Hannah, Sarah, Isaiah, and Josiah. Her hobbies include fishing, singing, and spending time with her family.
