Jaime & Rose Mary Loya
Senior Pastors and Founders
Jaime Loya serves as Senior and Founding Pastor of Cross Church (1995), a bilingual, multi-site ministry in the great state of Texas. Aside from his pastoral duties, Pastor Loya serves as a mentor and ministry consultant to other pastors in America and around the world. He is regarded as one of the leading and most influential Hispanic voices of this generation.
He is an accomplished author, songwriter, and conference speaker. He and his wife, Rose Mary, are the proud parents of four adult children: Hannah and her husband Aldo, Sarah, Isaiah, and Josiah.
Abram & Rebecca Gomez
Senior Executive Pastor
Abram Gomez is the Senior Executive Pastor at Cross Church. He graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with Cum Laude Honors and with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Church Ministries. He also received his master’s degree in Human Services with a specialization in Executive Leadership from Liberty University.
Abram has served in other various roles such as a Youth Pastor, Church Planter, Pastoral Preaching Team, and Administrator to name a few, and has helped to create church systems and structure to accommodate the growth.
At this time, he and his wife, Rebecca Gomez, are the Campus Pastors for the IDP Campus which we have seen hundreds of people being impacted by the impactful preaching and excellence in leadership. They reside in Harlingen along with their precious daughter Isabella and son Jude.
Eric Garza
Executive Pastor of Campuses
Eric serves as executive pastor of campuses of Cross Church overseeing the pastoral team, all campuses, and all ministry departments. He provides pastoral and operational support to senior leadership and both coaching and training to staff and teams. He works with our talented team, volunteers, and key stakeholders to advance the mission of the church, serve our campuses, and grow our organization.
Eric is a certified John Maxwell Coach and Speaker. He serves as a school board member for Jubilee Academies. As an entrepreneur, he is involved in real estate investments and works alongside his dad as owner of Gemstar Homes & Construction, LLC.
He holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University, and a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.

Genaro Treviño
Executive Director of Central Ministries
Genaro Trevino serves as the Executive Director of Central Ministries, overseeing the development of Cross Church ministry programs. This position not only nurtures and supports the Central Ministry staff but also collaborates closely with the Senior Pastor to execute the church's vision in order to fulfill our collective mission for the kingdom of God. He possesses strong leadership skills learned from primary leadership courses in the United States Army as well as entrepreneurship skills developed while building a successful catering and restaurant business in San Antonio, Texas. After 12 years and in order to fulfill God's calling over his life, he made the decision to close his business and pursue full time ministry.
Together with his wife Normalinda, they have over 10 years of ministry experience as they have served in areas such as; Children Ministry Volunteers, Young Adults, Youth Group Directors as well as served on Executive Boards. Genaro and Normalinda reside in San Antonio, TX and they have three wonderful daughters; Samantha, Victoria, and Jennifer. Genaro and Normalinda met while attending San Benito High School and married in 1996 and they both began their walk of faith at Cross Church in 2004.

Juan and Rosie serve as Apostles at Cross Church.
Juan & Veronica Barraza
Brownsville - Campus Pastors
Juan Carlos and Veronica K. Barraza serve as Campus Pastors at Cross Church Brownsville.
They have been married for 28 years and together have served in ministry for 29 years. Since 2000, Juan and Veronica have founded and planted many churches in Brownsville, Texas by helping Pastors build churches and lead many people unto the Lord. They have served such as Children Pastors, Youth Pastors, Associate Pastors, to now currently being Campus Pastors.
Juan and Veronica have two wonderful children Kevin and Karla Barraza that also serve in ministry. They have also been blessed with a daughter in law, Jovelli Barraza and three grandchildren: Baby A, Malachi Lev and their granddaughter to be born in summer 2023.
J. Alan & Maria Mendoza
Next Gen Pastors
J. Alan and his wife Maria are the Next Gen Pastors at Cross Church and are both natives of Colorado. J. Alan graduated with a degree in Theological Studies and Church Ministries at Christ Missions College in 2013, soon after embarking on his five-year journey serving as a full-time youth pastor in San Antonio, Texas.
His ongoing passion for Jesus and his ability to communicate the Gospel in a creative and powerful way has allowed him the opportunity to speak in the lives of thousands of youth and young adults around the nation.
Maria graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical and Theological studies and a minor in Intercultural Studies and serves along side of her husband.

San Benito - Campus Pastors
J. Alan and his wife Maria are the Campus Pastors at Cross Church in San Benito, Tx. and are both natives of Colorado. J. Ramiro & Becky Lerma
Bay Area - Campus Pastors
Ramiro and Becky Lerma serve as Associate Pastors at Cross Church Bay Area.
They have been married for 23 years and together have served in ministry for over 25 years. They have served under their family’s leadership at Christian Discipleship Outreach since 2000. Ramiro served in sound ministry, and later served as Co Pastor. Becky served as Dance Leader, and as vocalist on the worship team. They later served together as Youth Pastors and then as Deacons. This is where Ramiro was called out by three different prophets that he was going to be used as Pastor, Encourager, and Evangelist. In their new season they opened up their home to have services every Sunday with family and friends for a whole year waiting on God. Then Senior Pastor Loya and his wife Pastor Rose Mary reached out to the Lerma family for the opportunity to join Cross church family in 2017 at the same place that his wife and himself served and were born again in Brownsville. Christian Discipleship Outreach became Cross Church and they served then and serve now.
Ramiro and Becky have two wonderful children Makayla and Miranda Lerma who also serve in ministry. Makayla as one of the campus photographers and Miranda as part of the nursery.
José Luis & Mari Vásquez
IDP - Spanish Pastors
José Luis and his wife Mari are Spanish Pastors for Cross IDP McAllen and both are natives of Tamaulipas, Mexico.
José Luis graduated with a degree in Theology and a Master in Human Development and Organizational Leadership at Eagle International University.
They have served the body of Christ with passion and dedication for more than 25 years doing pastoral work for Iglesia del Pueblo and now Cross IDP.
Mari graduated from Eagle International University with a degree in Theology and a Masters in Human Development and Organizational Leadership.
Noe & Jessica Hernandez
Raymondville - Campus Pastors
Noe and Jessica Hernandez are the Campus Pastor at Cross Church Raymondville . Noe and Jessica have been married and serving the Lord for the past 13 years. They have served in other various roles such as a Youth Pastors, Children Pastors, Church Planters, Ministry Directors, Pastoral Preaching Team, and have a heart for marriages. Pastor Noe is the second generation Pastor and church planter, also they have three children, Naomi, Noe III, Damaris.
